Life Happens Coffee Helps Card by Amy K.
Hi everyone! Amy K. here sharing a card using the adorable Cup of Joy set. This set comes in the Cup of Joy Bundle or separately. Let me just tell you that having the dies for this set is a must in my opinion! I wanted to show how this set and it's sentiments could be customized.
I started my card with a layout from a current sketch challenge blog. Sometimes this just sparks the inspiration! To begin, I Copic colored the coffee cup and die cut with the Cup of Joy Die Set. Next, the "Hello" word was done by diecutting "Hello", from Find the Beauty Die Set, several times with black cardstock and layering together for dimension.
I wanted my sentiment to use the "life happens" from How Have You Bean? To do this, I had to selectively ink up the top portion with Versamark and white heat emboss onto a thin strip of black cardstock. To finish my sentiment, I continued with the rest, "coffee helps" on the inside of my card.
To tie in the sketch challenge, I layered gingham paper onto kraft cardstock and added it to a top folding white notecard. I love the crisp white edges. My coffee cup and sentiments were added to finish the layout.
