Hello everyone! Kari here with you today to show you how I decorated these cute muslin bags. We are always searching for cute ways to present small gifts, am I right?! As you've probably read all week, Nicole was so kind to send her DT a package full of fun decorative goodies. Everything to a few boxes for treats, ribbon, a wooden ornament, among other fun stuff!

So today, I wanted to share how I decorated up these muslin bags. I wanted to do them differently. The first one you see is a more simple design and it wouldn't take no time to recreate this. I stamped and die cut one of the pine images and the pine cone from the Christmas Foliage set, and also a banner from the gift tag die set, and stamped the sentiment found also in the Christmas Foliage set with some red ink. To adhere it to my bag, I just used a tiny stapler, and stapled it to the bag. Both of my bags, I have the small room sprays that I had purchased from Bath and Body Works, but you could also find similar at your local dollar store or retail store.

For the next bag, I "jazzed" it up a bit, and stamped and colored the Santa image from Holly Jolly Christmas. Once I was done with the coloring, I used my scissors and I "fussy" cut him out. Then for the background of the bag, I inked up the Gingham Background stamp with red ink and stamped it down, and then added with some strong adhesive the strip of the pine trimming that was included in the box that Nicole sent. At the top, I thought it would be fun to add a red jingle bell to finish it off.

It really didn't take long at all to decorate these bags, and you could easily add candy, room sprays as I did, small tealight candles, etc. I had fun creating these today, and I hope it inspires to jazz up your packaging this holiday season!!
