Homemade Holidays Day #1 with Jess // Gingham Bags
Good morning, Jess here with a quick gift idea! I recently discovered a recipe for a to-die-for Chex mix and I wanted a fun way to package them as a gift! Nicole sent her design team an adorable box filled with great packaging materials and I fell in love with these cute wine and kraft gingham bags!
I filled quart-sized Ziploc bags with Chex mix and then put them inside the bags. I folded the top over twice and stapled it shut. Next I stamped the poinsettia from Christmas Foliage onto vellum with Versamark and heat-embossed it with gold tinsel embossing powder. I fussy cut them and layered a few of them and adhered them together with a glue dot. I also stamped the sentiment onto a tag with Versamark and heat-embossed it with gold embossing powder. I added gold sequin twine around the bag and then added my poinsettias and my tag. The elegant poinsettias really add an extra special touch to the gift!
Hope this gives you some fun holiday packaging ideas using these gorgeous Christmas Foliage stamps! Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
