Hello Sunflower Brushstroke Alphabet Card by Holly
Hi everyone, it’s Holly here today. I hope you are all having a great week so far. Today I have a cute card using the new Sunflower set and it’s coordinating dies. My sentiment is created with the new Brushstroke Alphabet Uppercase and Lowercase sets.
I started with a piece of Bristol cardstock and I heat embossed it with the Gingham Background Stamp using VersaMark ink and clear embossing powder. I left parts of the image unstamped to give it a rough texture. I added some Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink and created a watercolor look to the background. Then I die cut the panel using a large stitched Rectangle and adhered it to a top-folding, A2 size card base.
I stamped the sunflower images onto some Neenah Solar White cardstock using inks from Altenew and Lawn Fawn. Then I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I adhered them to the background with some foam tape. The sentient is stamped using some VersaFine Black Onyx ink on Neenah Solar White. I lined up the images from the Uppercase and the Lowercase set. I used my scissors to fussy cut the sentiment out and adhered it with some foam tape. I wanted a little bit of sparkle so I added some mixed sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.
I hope you are enjoying the new release as much as I am!
Thanks for stopping by today!
