Anemone Bouquet Cards by Amy K.
Hello! Amy K. here with some inspiration using the new Anemone stamps. When I first laid eyes on these floral layering stamps, I was in love! This set is super duper easy to line up! There are so many possibilities at adding color to this stamp set!
Both my cards start with a background stamped with the Watercolor Background in Mango pigment ink. For my first card, the blooms from Anemones were stamped with Red Currant pigment ink. I achieved the layers definition by simply using my Misti and stamping each layer multiple times. This way you don't need other colors of ink! The blooms were hand cut and set aside. The greenery was stamped in Mojito and Spruce pigment inks and fussy cut with scissors.
To build my bouquet, I arranged the flowers and then picked up the whole arrangement with Press 'n Seal. This keeps your arrangement just how you like it! I also used this to "shield" my flowers from any black ink when stamping the sentiment. Using Brushstrike Alpha Lowercase and Versafine ink, I stamped the word 'hello' and then removed the Press 'n Seal. To finish my sentiment, I stamped 'thanks a bunch' from Tiny Sentiments with Versamark, white heat embossed onto a thin strip of black cardstock, and adhered with foam adhesive. Flat clear confetti was adhered to finish!
My second card uses the same Anemone stamps but using Grape and Blackberry pigment inks. Again using Press 'n Seal, I arranged my flowers in the center of my Watercolor Background panel. I wanted the flowers to take center stage so I added a small sentiment strip stamped with 'how are you?' (from Tiny Sentiments) in Versamark and white heat embossed. One end of the sentiment banner was trimmed at an angle and adhered with foam adhesive. More flat clear confetti was added for shine!
