Sunflower Brushstroke Alphabet Card + Matching Envelope by Laurie S.
Hi there! Laurie Schmidlin here with you today. I'm super excited to be sharing a card I created with the brand new Sunflower stamp set! This set is SO gorgeous and I couldn't wait to ink it up!
I started by die cutting the flowers and leaves using the coordinating Sunflower Die Set. I then stamped the flowers and leaves using my MISTI. This was definitely my favorite part of making this card. I love watching these sunflowers take shape after adding each different ink layer! The little detail images that Nicole included in this set really makes these images special and a lot of fun to stamp!
Nicole has a great instructional video on how to stamp these flowers as well as a downloadable instructional sheet.
For the sentiment, I stamped it in black using the Brushstroke Alphabet Uppercase and Brushstroke Alphabet Lowercase stamp sets. These are hands down my favorite alphabet stamps ever! They are SO easy to line up and the brush font is on point...I cannot get enough of them!
I couldn't help myself. I just had to decorate the envelope! I used a couple of the stamps from the brand new Happy Mail Year 3 stamp set.
So, are you as smitten with these new sets as I am? I just can't imagine anyone not smiling when getting a card in the mail with these cheerful flowers!
Thanks so much for joining me here today!
Laurie S.
