Hello Friend Sunflower Card by Holly

Hello everyone it’s Holly here today and WOW have you checked out the newest release yet? This is one you don’t want to miss...each release Nicole creates just gets more fabulous! Today I’m using the new Sunflower Stamp set and the Brushstroke Alphabet Lowercase. I also used two previously released items the Find the Beauty Die set and Script Greetings set.

I die cut a piece of white card stock with the large stitched rectangle from the Find the Beauty Die Set then I added a light blue background with a striped stencil and some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. I adhered the panel to a top folding Black card base. Then I stamped the Sunflower image using some inks from Lawn Fawn and Altenew. Nicole had provided a great stating guide to use with this set. You can find the download here. I cut the image out with my scissors but there is a coordinating die available in the shop as well.

I lined my card base up in my Mini MISTI and I stamped the sentiment using the Brushstroke Alphabet Lowercase set and some VersaFine ink. Once I had the sentiment stamped I added the sunflower image with some removable adhesive and stamped part of the sentiment over the edges of the sunflower so they line up. Then I adhered the sunflower image with some foam tape. I stamped the “friend” sentiment from Script Greetings and trimmed it out with my scissors and adhered it to the sunflower. I wanted a little touch of bling so I added some Sparkling Clear Mixed Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.
