Happy (Heart) Day Ticket Valentines
If you're anything like me you probably usually don't like receiving tickets. Often times they cost us money and frustration, but I think I may have an exception to that rule today. Check out these adorable Valentine's Day tickets I created! They're so sweet and simple and the perfect way to say "Happy (Heart) Day!" to your bestie. Whether you charge them a bestie fee is up to you!
Let's get started...
I wanted these tickets to be pretty small but still have enough space for some stamping and a message. I decided on 1 5/8 in wide by 3 9/16 in long. I trimmed three different candy colored cardstocks to that size and got decorating!
To create the ticket-like edge on each rectangle I used the paper bag edge die from my Folded Gift Bag Die Set. I lined it up even on each side, taped it down with some washi tape and ran it through my die-cutting machine.
Next I pulled out the OG stamp in the Right at Home line, Happy Mail, and stamped the circle seal image off to the left. I changed up the ink color depending on the cardstock ticket color. Inside the seal I added three die-cut hearts from my Folded Airplane Die Set. I think that little heart cluster die is going to be a fave.
Next to the seal I stamped "Happy (Heart) Day!" from my Love Ya stamp set as well as "to:" and "love:". To add some dimension to the ticket I used my ink blending sponges with a coordinating ink and ran it along the edges. Love! Oh, and to the little heart die-cuts I used my Nuvo Aqua Shimmer pens. They are just so glittery!
Once I got my design down these took minutes each to create. I just had a thought while writing this...wouldn't these be so sweet to give to your friends as admittance to a Galentine's Day party?! I'm totally doing this. Or you could write "redeem for a coffee date" or something cute and give to a co-worker? So many adorable uses.
Let me know how you would use these tickets in the comments below!
I (heart) you!
