Peace Love Joy Cozy Cardinal Card by Holly

Happy Tuesday everyone…It’s Holly here today! I hope you are having a great start to your week. Today I’m sharing a cute winter card with the Cozy Cardinal stamp and coordinating die set . I also used the new Peace Love Joy sentiment set and the Watercolor Background Stamp.

I stamped the background onto a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock with some aqua ink and then I adhered the panel to a A2 size card base. I stamped the sentiment in the upper corner with some black ink. I really liked the bold, black against the aqua background. I stamped the branch from the cardinal set using two shades of brown ink and then I used the coordinating die to cut it out. I added some Copic Opaque White to the branch to look like snow. I die-cut the cardinal using the coordinating die and then I placed it back into the negative piece and place it into my MISTI stamping tool.

I stamped the cardinal using several shades of red and grey ink. Then I adhered the branch onto the card front with some foam tape and the cardinal as well. I wanted a little extra sparkle so I added some sequins from the Studio Katia Winter Mix.
