DIY Seed Packet Favors by Nicole // Homemade with Love Day #1
Good morning, friends!
I hope the sun is shining and the birds are merrily chirping wherever you are. We finally have some mild weather here in MA which means I have my flip flops out and ready to go. I'm so happy that spring is finally here today especially because this week my DT and I are hosting a Homemade with Love blog series! Each day a different member will be sharing a DIY project perfect for celebrating the spring season. I'm up first with these cute DIY seed packet favors that take no time at all but are oh so cute.
I wanted to create something that was quick and simple with minimal supplies. I decided it might be fun to pick up some seed packets and decorate them for an unexpected gift idea. I chose a few of my favorite packets based on the pretty floral images they had printed on the front. I used the colors of the package as my palette for the rest of my design.
Along the top of the packet I folded over a small doily and wrapped some thick jute around it a few times. I added a little banner tag that I stamped with a sentiment from my Bunny Hugs set. It works perfectly for this project doesn't it?! I also added a few paper tassels from my Folded Sweetheart Die Set. I don't use them enough!
I'm super excited to see what the rest of the team has up their crafty sleeves. I already had a sneak peek of what's coming tomorrow and I have a feeling you're going to love it...stay tuned!
Happy spring!
Nicole
P.S. I held this same series last year. See all the posts here!
