Coffee Lovers Blog Hop // Summer 2016
Good morning, hoppers!
Who's excited for another Coffee Lovers Blog Hop? I know I am! We've got an awesome line-up of talented ladies joining us this time around so I'll make sure to keep this post quick so you can get going on the rest of your hop!
While designing my card I wanted to keep things bright and colorful yet simple to assemble as I was short on time. Due to that, I used my Silhouette Cameo for a majority of the elements. I cut out my coffee cup, stitched rectangle panel, curved hill, and "hugs" sentiment out of various cardstocks and patterned papers that I had on hand.
As a result, assembly was pretty quick. I white heat-embossed "sending" from my Simple Sentiments stamp to finish off the "hugs" greeting. I added foam tape behind some of the elements and kept the rest flat. I added a few embellishments like a button tied with twine and some enamel dots. They add a touch of dimension and additional color to an otherwise simple card design.
