Hello Fall Pumpkin Spice Season Letterboard Card

Hello, November!

Can you believe October is already over?! I was still recovering from how fast September went and, poof, Octobers gone. Ugh, time flies.

Now that fall has officially arrived I decided to make a card inspired by the piles (and piles) of leaves that all around my neighborhood. And one of the sweet girls from Pumpkin Spice Season fit the theme perfectly.

To start off, I stamped the girl playing in leaves onto her coordinating die-cut in an alcohol-friendly ink. I used Momento Tuxedo Black. On a separate sheet of paper I stamped dozens of leaves from the set as I knew I would be layering on as much as possible. Next, I got to coloring in all my images using a variety of alcohol-based markers (colors listed at end of post)!

Once I was finished coloring I moved onto my background. I stamped a piece of white A2 sized cardstock with my Woodgrain Background Stamp in a green ink. This time I used My Favorite Things Hyrbid Ink in Factory Green. I wanted to use Catherine Pooler’s Green Tea, but I desperately need to re-ink it! I die-cut that panel using the largest stitched rectangle from my Find the Beauty Die Set.

I also ran through the letterboard from my Letterboard Love Die Set, using some kraft and gray cardstock, and the “hello fall” which is actually included in the Pumpkin Spice Season Die Set. I assembled the letterboard using foam tape on the back and adhered everything on top using both dimensional adhesive and tape runner adhesive.
