DIY Gift Card Envelopes by Kymona // May Stamped & Sealed Craft Box
Hello everyone!! It's Kymona here with a couple of super cute gift card holders for you!! I wanted to show you how you can use up all of that pattern paper we stash away for safe keeping.
I love this pattern paper that Nicole choose for her first Stamped and Sealed Craft Box. Its perfect for this time of the year. Nice, bright and pretty!!
Check out what I created:
This pattern paper is perfect for creating these types of gift card holder. The patten paper isn't to crowded and they leave room for stamped images.
Note: These envelopes were created using Mama Elephant Venice Envelope Die.
Let's take a closer look:
Gift card holder number #1 was created with the pattern paper with the little boy and girl on the front. I used Mama Elephant Venice Envelope Die Cut to create the patten paper. I placed the edge of the die right were the folds would allow the faces to be on the front of the envelope.
I used Right At Home Sweet Birthday stamp set to stamp the sentiment on the front of the envelope.
Once the envelope was put together, I stamped another sentiment from the stamp sets on the flap of the envelope in the back.
Since the sentiment is long, I taped off part of it and stamped. Then I taped the rest and stamped the remaining words.
Nice and easy!
Gift card holder #2 was created with the musical note paper.
I cut this paper so that the stars show when you open the back flap! I didn't stamp a sentiment because the musical notes said it all.
See how nicely your gift cards will hold in this envelope.
Amazing right?
Gift card holder #3 was created with the big polkadot paper. I think this paper is my favorite!! Its so full of life, LOL!
For this envelope I created a matching note card so that you could personalize the gift.
The paper pack came with sheets that had 3x4 cards so I used the matching polkadot card. It just so happen to have lines for a message. I used that to my advantage and stamped one of the sentiments at the bottom, leaving room for your message on the top.
I also stamped the front of the envelope as well. I wanted to keep it really simple since the paper stood on its own.
The note card and the gift card fit with no problem in the envelope! Totally awesome!!
So what do you think? Nicole really did a great job putting this box together!! Lots fun stuff to play with and the possibilities are endless.
I hope I inspired you to get your hands on a box and/or use it if you ordered it already. My paper is finished and I used the stamp set multiple times. So it worth it!!
Please let me know what you think below! I would love to hear what your plans for your paper will be.
Thanks for stopping by!
