Creative Confessions #1 // My 5 Crafty Favorites + Challenge
Happy Sunday!
Ever since I formed my own Right at Home Design Team I found that my blogging content became more and more dependent on them than myself. I love sharing all the amazing creations they make with you, however, I do miss having the chance to chat with you myself. I feel like its something that I've been missing and I think I've found a way to remedy that.
Enter Creative Confessions, a post series written by me where we discuss all things crafty. I'm hoping to post these on Sundays a couple times a month so I hope you're excited for some bonus posts coming soon! For my first post, I'm sharing some of the products that I'm currently loving. Make sure to read to the end to see how you can join in on this week's post!

A few weeks ago I hosted a blog hop centered around celebrating papercrafting and our favorite crafting products. We all used our favorites to create a card project and come together to share our passion for cardmaking. It was a huge success and it inspired me to share this post!
Favorite #1 // Abstract Florals Stamp Set
No surprise that my Abstract Florals set is one of my current favorites. It's just because I'm seeing it pop up on my Instagram feed by those who have purchased it and I continue to fall more and more in love with it as a result. I just can't help it...when you see something you created brought to life in so many different ways you can't help but love it. It's like my little stamp baby! Too much? :)
Favorite #2 // Echo Park Sunny Days Ahead Paper Pack
Although I love to stamp my own patterns using background stamps, I always like to keep some simple, bright patterned papers on hand to use for something quick. I have been loving this pack of paper from Echo Park because of the minimal patterns and colorful hues. My favorite sheet? The striped rainbow piece...gotta love a good rainbow.
Favorite #3 // White Craft Foam
Ever since I watched this video in which Jennifer explains how she replaced her foam tape for craft foam to add dimension, I was hooked. So much so that I refuse to finish a card unless I have it on hand. Needless to say, I am always running to the craft store to pick some up. For some reason I can only ever find the longer sheets so I cut them in half when I get home for easy storage.
Favorite #4 // Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins
I never used to be a sequin girl. I always admired the sparkle and iridescence that they added to others' cards, but never gravitated towards them myself. That is, until I picked up some of the Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. They add the perfect touch of shine to a card and come in a huge pack that can spread across dozens of cards. I've found that I'm becoming more and more heavy-handed with them...I don't mind though.
Favorite #5 // Hero Arts Black Dye Ink
Recently I've fallen back in love with this ink. I normally gravitate towards brown inks as they give a more subtle affect as opposed to black. However, with the release of my Script Greetings stamp set in which it is supposed to look hand-lettered when stamped, I found that this crisp, black ink works perfectly.
Now I want to hear about some of your favorites...and I have the perfect challenge for you!
The challenge is to gather five of your favorite crafty products, take a picture, and share them on Instagram using the hashtag #My5CraftyFavs. If you're feeling extra productive, you can create a project with those items and use the same hashtag so we can all see what you've been up to. To start though, you can just share your favorites in hopes of giving someone else a fresh idea of what items to reach for.
Let's try to create a conversation about all things crafty on Instagram...I know the rest of the paper crafting community will love to join in!
