Coffee Lovers Blog Hop // Holiday 2015
Coffee and crafty are the perfect compliments. Nothing makes you feel more relaxed and creative than a tall cup of warm coffee so when Amy asked me if I would be interested in participating in her Coffee Lovers Blog Hop, I knew it was the perfect match. Today, I along with dozens of other crafters are sharing a project inspired by coffee and I can't wait to see what everyone has brewed up. Sorry, I had to!
For my project, I knew I wanted to put together a coffee-themed gift idea that is easy to recreate to give to your coworkers or friends who also share our obsession. I started with the idea to create a tag that I could put a Starbucks gift card into and tie around a mug. I hope you like what I created!
I used the same process to create the tag that I shared in this tutorial a couple weeks ago, except I changed up the design a little bit. I used my Happy Mail stamp for a little label and added a small poinsettia stamped in red from my Poinsettia stamp set. I adhered all the elements together and used some twine to tie it around a glassine bag that I filled with my favorite chocolates.
Next, I slipped in the gift card and I was finished! It only took me about 20 minutes to create this project and you could easily mass-produce these for gifts. I think anyone would love to receive a gift card and wrapping it around a new mug filled with some sweet treats is just an added bonus!
Since I love spreading the warmth and holiday cheer of the season I decided to give this mug, gift card, and bag of chocolates away to one lucky crafter who links up a project on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog. If you want the chance to win this gift set, make sure to create a project inspired by the holidays, winter, coffee, tea, or hot cocoa and link it up to the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop Post here.
I hope you enjoyed my project and have fun on the rest of your hop! Make sure to click here to find the next post.
