Friendship Card by Yuki // Right at Home Design Team
Hi crafty friends! Yuki here! Today I'm sharing two sweet love/friendship cards featuring products from the Right At Home Shop. Not only does RAH design some adorable and versatile stamps and dies, but they also offer a wide variety of products from some of my favorite stamp companies.
My first card features the I Knead You set from My Favorite Things. For the background, I stamped the Watercolor Striped Background stamp, also from MFT, in a light grey ink. I used stitched photo frame dies to frame my stamped images and inked the backgrounds with non-traditional Valentine's Day colors. I stamped a different sentiment onto each frame to make them look like polaroids. To finish the card, I added Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.
For my second card, I made a sweet, Spring scene featuring the Somebunny set from MFT. I inked the background with a pale blue pigment ink and then stamped a heart background over the sky with a slightly dark blue ink to give a tone-on-tone look. I die cut a green hill from green cardstock and stamp a houndstooth background over the green hill with a matching green ink to create my own pattern paper. I colored the images with Copic Markers and fussy-cut them out, leaving a white border. I matted the focal panel onto a piece of white cardstock and used pattern paper from the MFT Homespun Gingham 6x6 pack.
Both cards turned out so sweet and I love how they're not necessarily Valentine's Day specific. I plan on sending the first card to my brother and I plan on sending the sending the second card to a dear friend who I haven't seen in a while. I hope you were inspired today and be sure to check out the Right At Home blog for more inspiration!
