I Miss You Gift Card Holder by Holly // Gilmore Girls Inspired Post Week
Happy Tuesday everyone. It’s Holly here today! It’s a week long celebration of the Gilmore Girls Inspired Post Week here on blog. Nicole kicked things off yesterday with a gorgeous watercolor card. I created a fun gift card holder to send to a coffee loving friend.
I started by stamping the new Watercolor Background Stamp onto a piece of white cardstock. Then I die cut a window into the panel that opens to reveal the inside of the card. I stamped the coffee cup images from Cup of Joy onto some white cardstock and colored them in with my Copics. I love the mix and match pieces in this set. I fussy cut the images out but there is a coordinating die set as well.
I adhered the cups to the inside of the center area with some foam tape. Then I created a banner with a die cut and stamped the sentiment from the Simple Sentiments set. I wanted a little bit of srakle so I added some Sparkling Clear Sequins around the images as well. I made sure to keep everything free from the area that will be ripped open, so it moved freely.
Not going to lie..lol it was hard to rip this open for the photo. It was so cute.. but hey I can make another one right? I stamped a sentiment on the inside from the Simple Sentiments set as well and taped the gift card down. Then I added the front panel over it using adhesive just along the edges. Then I gently lifted the edge in the center to reveal the inside of the card.
