Coffee Lovers Blog Hop // Spring 2017

Good morning, crafters!

Whose ready for another round of the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop? I AM! This time around it's the spring edition which, if you're anywhere on the east coast, will make you cringe as the temperature outside in no way says "spring". Hopefully the weather warms up soon, but in the meantime we have dozens of cute coffee projects to look at. Let me show you mine!

I decided to go out of my comfort zone for this project and create a shaker card. I started with a stitched rectangle panel and cut a few mug shapes out of the center of it to make my openings. I created another white panel for underneath and stamped a coffee bean image repeatedly. Later I colored them with my Copic markers.

I places some clear sequins on the areas that would show through and adhered my top panel with some foam tape. I finished off the card with a sentiment strip that reads "How have you bean?" and a scalloped strip that is stamped with a cute steam image. Kind of looks like woodgrain, doesn't it?

I'm so happy with the way this project turned out and that I was able to use my Cup of Joy release again. They're some of my favorite sets in my collection.

Also I'm giving away a $20 gift certificate to my shop to one lucky crafter who links up her project on the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop post. You can add your submission here.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your hop...thanks for stopping by!
