DIY First Day of School Chalkboard Sign // Back to School with Right at Home
Hello! Amy K. here with a DIY Back to School themed project! With our school year starting next Tuesday, I wanted to have something ready to help take those "First Day of School" photos. What's better, my daughter and I put this together using all products from Right at Home. My son may be a bit too old for this but my daughter loved this project. In fact, she helped die cut my images!
We started with a small chalkboard type frame that you can pick up at your local craft store (I purchased mine at Michael's for just a few dollars). Next, we began to die cut all the images from the Back to School Die Set. After assembling the apples and the mini chalkboard, we white heat embossed the sentiment from the Back to School Planner Set. I just love this saying and it is so true for back to school!
I arranged all my die cut images to the left of the frame allowing space to write First Day of School on my chalkboard. (I don't have the best handwriting so forgive me!) Such a quick and easy DIY Back to School project to start the year!
