Watercolor & Pigment Ink Anemone Cards by Jill H.

Good morning, and happy Monday to everyone!

I'm beyond excited to be here today sharing a couple cards I made for the newest Right at Home release! This release is full of flowery goodness! :)

This first card I made with the lovely new Anemone set. This set could not be any easier to stamp in layers. Things line up so easily. For me, this is a huge bonus because I sometimes struggle with layering sets. This new RAH set makes it effortless.

Today, I thought it would be fun to share a watercolored card, showing the versatility of this set. I love that you can layer stamp this card and also use the flowers on their own for different techniques.

I masked off a sentiment area, and then I white embossed these flowers. Once cooled, I watercolored them using Kuretake Gansai Tambi Pearl paints. The mica in this shimmers and pops these flowers right off the card! DE-lightful! :) I finished off this card simply by just adding a couple stitched rows.

I think it turned out lovely, and I cannot wait to pop it in the mail! <3

Next up, is a card I made using the layering parts of the Anemone set. As mentioned previously, it is super easy to get the stamps lined up exactly. Sometimes I like them offset a wee bit, to create a different overall look as well.

For this card, I stamped the the flower outlines in color and the bulk of the flower fill in white pigment. I enjoy how all the inks pop on the kraft cardstock.

To finish off the card, I stamped the leaves in green. I then added a few sparkly sequins, some stitching, and voila!

For both of these cards, I used sentiments from the previously released RAH set, Make Something Beautiful. A perfect set to make crafty friends a card. :)

I hope you have a chance to check out all of the new Right at Home release! Big inky hugs to Nicole, for having me along to celebrate her designs! I've had such fun using all these RAH stamps this past month, and I look forward to sharing more in a couple weeks!
