Pretty Pink Posh November Release Blog Hop
Hi there!
Today I am super excited to be part of the Pretty Pink Posh November Release Blog Hop! I have never been a guest designer so I was so excited when Paulina asked me to join her. I'm sharing two projects today as well as linking to the other talented ladies along this hop. There is also a very special giveaway that is going on so make sure to hop along to each post!
You should have arrived here from Julia Alderman or the Pretty Pink Posh blog, but if not, make sure to hop along until you find yourself back here!
This release is super special and exciting as it is the first time Paulina is releasing stamps! For her first release she created three stamp sets that are perfect for both the holiday season as well as everyday cards. I was lucky enough to receive two of the stamps to create with and I loved using them!
Happy Holidays Snow Globe Card
My first card started with the idea to create a scene inside a snow globe-like shape. I looked around my stash and couldn't find anything that was working, so I created my own shape on the Silhouette software. I cut out a circle frame from some grey cardstock and the base from a bright red cardstock. For inside the snow globe I stamped the bunny image, the tree, and the two smaller presents from the Holiday Pals set, cut them out using the coordinating dies and colored them with my Copic markers.
I adhered all of these elements with foam tape to a white circle that I lightly inked with My Favorite Things Sno Cone ink. I also added a snow slope to ground the images. Below the snow globe, I stamped the "Happy Holidays" greeting from the same stamp set in a crisp black ink. I just love the way this card turned out!
Tis' the Season Card
For my next card I wanted to incorporate a candy cane inspired element so I used the Plaid Builder stamp from MFT to stamp some patterned paper. For my focal point, I used some white cardstock and inked the upper portion with the same MFT Sno Cone ink from the last card. I decided that the little critters from the Holiday Pals stamp set were too cute not to use again so I stamped a colored a few more for this card.
I adhered them with foam tape and the trees directly to the paper with tape runner adhesive. For the sentiment, I used a banner die from MFT and some grey cardstock. I stamped the "Tis the Season" sentiment from the same stamp set in Versamark ink and white heat embossed it. I adhered it with foam tape as well and added a few turquoise jewels to finish the card off!
I hope you enjoyed my two card projects! I had so much fun making them and am super excited I had the opportunity to participate in this blog hop!
I have two last things to share with you: one is that there are some $25 Pretty Pink Posh Gift Certificates up for grabs so make sure to leave a comment here as well as all the other stops along this hop.
