Loose Watercoloring Card by Holly // May Stamped & Sealed Craft Box

Hi everyone it’s Holly here today. I’ve got a fun card using some loose watercoloring...this is way out of my comfort zone. I noticed even when I was creating this I was trying to control my loose look...lol!

I started with a piece of Tim Holtz watercolor paper and I stamped the cupcake, cherry and swirl images from the RAH Sweet Birthday set in some VersaFine Black ink. Then I die cut the panel with the Basic Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant. I scribbled some Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers over the images and using a wet paintbrush I moved the color around to create the loose look.

While the image were drying I die cut a piece of pattern paper from the Simple Stories Let’s Party Pad which is also in the Stamp and Sealed box, using the same Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant. I adhered that piece to a top folding White card base and then I added the image panel with some foam tape.  I used two of the sentiments from Sweet Birthday set and stamped them onto a Banner. The Banner was adhered with some foam tape as well. For some additional pop of color I added some Matte Dots from the Bright assortment from Doodlebug Designs.
